Billy Kelly is a Limerickman, who spent his early years as a news reporter with the Limerick Leader newspaper. He is a founder director of Irish Third World livestock development agency, Bóthar.
In 2003 he moved to the UK and lives in Gillingham, Dorset, with his wife, Sally Page. Together they set up PLOOMS Fountain Pens and Fanahan Books.
He also founded and runs the Msaada development agency.
